Baichang Zhong (Ph.D) is a full professor in the School of Information Technology in Education at South China Normal University, and the Director of the Department of Information Technology in Education, before which he was a full Professor in the School of Education Science at Nanjing Normal University. He leads the Guangdong University Innovation Team of AI and Technology Education, and vice-chairman of Chinese Society for Inquiry Learning. His research interests focus on Education including Information Science & Technology Education, Robotics Education, Maker Education, STEM Education, AI Education, PjBL, Cooperative/Collaborative Learning, etc. Dr. Zhong has published 200+ papers in Chinese peer-reviewed journals since 2001, 30+ SSCI/SCI journals papers since 2016, and 30+ books in Chinese. He gained some honors including 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers (Elsevier), Highly Reprinted Authors from China Social Science Excellence (2016), and National excellent supervisor of Master of Education (2016), etc.
