Yunxiang Zheng, Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Sun Yat-sen University, is an Associate Professor of the School of Educational Information Technology at South China Normal University. As a master's supervisor, he is mainly engaged in the research of digital citizenship education, game-based learning, and educational data mining. He was selected for the Outstanding Young Teachers Cultivation Program of Guangdong Higher Education Institutions and the “Thousand Hundred and Ten Project” of Guangdong Higher Education Institutions, and is qualified as a system analyst. From Dec. 2016 to Dec. 2017, he was sponsored by the China Scholarship Council to visit the State University of New York at Oswego in the United States. He has presided over 9 research projects, including the National Social Science Foundation of China, the Humanities and Social Science Foundation of the Ministry of Education, and the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province. He has published more than 70 papers in Heliyon, Frontiers in Psychology, China Educational Technology, e-Education Research, Open Education Research, Journal of Distance Education, and other important academic journals at home and abroad, including 10 papers in SCI/SSCI, 20 papers in CSSCI, and more than 30 papers in EI/ISTP. He has published 3 academic monographs, 4 national invention patents, won the second prize of Guangdong Education Teaching Achievements, and the first prize of Guangdong Undergraduate Colleges and Universities Online Excellent Teaching Case.
