From November 8 to 10, the final round of the2024 National " Tian Jiabing Cup" Modern Educational Technology Teaching Skills Competition for Full-time Graduates in Education was successfully held. The competition aims to comprehensively display the teaching ability and training achievements of full-time graduate students in education, exchange training experience, improve training quality, promote teaching and quality through competition, which is an influential competition in China.
The competition was launched in June 2024 and divided into two stages: preliminary and final. 396 contestants from 86 institutions across the country participated in the preliminary round. 201 contestants from 76 institutions were assessed by experts organized by the organizing committee of the contest and entered the final round, resulting in 20 first prizes, 40 second prizes and 80 third prizes. School of Information Technology in Education saw fruitful prizes. Wu Kexin and Li Yuli, majored in Master of Education (Modern Educational Technology) won the first prize, Hou Xiaobao and Weng Yanhong won the second prize, and Yin Rui, Hu Xiaoling, Ma Xiufang and Zhong Bochang were awarded as excellent instructors as teachers.
On the afternoon of November 8, the final was opened. At the opening ceremony, Pan Wenqing, standing committee member of the school party committee and vice president of the school, expressed his warm congratulations on the opening of the competition, and warmly welcomed all the teachers, experts and contestants who participated in the competition. The fact that the competition was held in South China Normal University is not only an affirmation of the school's achievements over the years, but also an important opportunity for the school to improve the teaching ability of graduates in modern educational technology.
The competition was divided into four segments: player checking, on-site lesson preparation, simulated lecture and on-site response. Each segment was well-coordinated and adequately prepared, creating a good environment for the participants. During the competition, the contestants had a dignified teaching manner and wonderful teaching design, which fully demonstrated the teaching skills and elegance of the students and won the unanimous praise of the judges.
