The PhD program in Educational Technology is supported by a national key discipline and a comprehensive postdoctoral station system, upholding the academic tradition of deep integration between theory and technology. It aims to cultivate high-level research talents with international vision, academic innovation, and leadership in the field.

This program focuses on the key scientific issues in the digital transformation of education, exploring how big data and artificial intelligence can optimize educational assessment, enhance learning outcomes, and drive the design and implementation of smart education systems, as well as promote the digital and intelligent transformation of educational resources. The program covers five cutting-edge areas: basic theories of educational technology, applications of information technology in education, big data and AI in educational applications, smart education applications, digital media design, and modern distance education applications. PhD students will engage in original, systematic research on core topics such as educational principles in the digital age, learning resource design, and process optimization. The training process emphasizes a solid theoretical foundation, independent research capabilities, interdisciplinary perspectives, mastery of advanced technologies, and the production of high-level academic achievements. PhD students are expected to make innovative contributions in a specific research field, particularly in areas such as educational intelligence, personalized learning, and educational analytics.
